“Thank God for His Son, a gift too wonderful for words.”

2 Corinthians 9:15 ( LAS )

“Let your roots grow down into Him and draw up nourishment from Him so you will grow in faith, strong and vigorous in the truth you were taught.

Colossians 2:7 ( LAS )

“Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos into order, confusion into clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today and creates a vision for tomorrow.”

These words by Melody Beattie were read by me during a dark and difficult time in my life and they made quite an impact on me. Soon I was making lists of my blessings and found that they were many. Channeling my thoughts on thankfulness and gratitude changed my life in a very positive way. Soon I was feeling a “peace that passes all understanding.”

Two very important scripture verses to me are 2 Corinthians 9:15 and Colossians 2:7.

Visiting with and praying to the Lord at the beginning of each day is a sure way to help yourself through these unsettling times. It lessens the fears of war, of loneliness, of despair and the ever-growing loss of moral values in the world..

Walking daily with the Lord will give you the strength and guidance to live in this world with a sense of hope and peace.

My prayer for you is that you will be able to find the “peace that passes all understanding,” This I ask in the name of Jesus my precious Lord and Savior. Peace be with you.
