“Jesus looked at them and said, ‘With men this is impossible, but not with God: all things are possible with God.'”

Mark 10:27 ( NIV )

Dear God, we come to you during this Lenten season, knowing you sent your Son, Jesus Christ, to be crucified on the Cross, so that all who believe may enter the Kingdom of God. Lord we thank you for your love and caring for each and every one of us. We ask that you bless each one and guide us as we come to the many bends in our personal road but always knowing you are there to help us through. God, we thank you for who you are and what you mean to each one of us.

May God Bless each and every one. Amen.

A Bend in the Road

Sometimes we come to life's crossroads And we view what we think is the end But God has a much wider vision And He knows that it's only a bend— The road will go on and get smoother And after we've stopped for a rest, The path that lies hidden beyond us Is often the path that is best, So rest and relax and grow stronger, Let go and let God share your load And have faith in a brighter tomorrow, You've just come to a bend in the road.

David Jeremiah

Many times we all have come to a crossroad in our daily lives not knowing which way to turn. But if we allow God to be our guide and pilot through these difficult times, our faith will become stronger and he will carry us through. We are only here on this earth for such a short time and we must strive to serve our God in the way he wants us to. Knowing our purpose in life is very important. We need to seek God and allow him to work in us.

Oh, I thank God that he sent his son, Jesus, as a babe, to live his life as a man on earth. And then Jesus gave his life on the Cross to save you and me from all our sins. What an awesome God he is. How I ponder over and over “could I ever do this with my child?” But God did give his Son for you and for me so we may live in eternity with him.

I challenge each and every one of you to ask Jesus Christ into your heart to forgive you for your sins, and then start to follow him by your love and obedience to him.
