“Love never ends. But as for prophecies, they will come to an end; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will come to an end.” Corinthians 13:8

My most memorable Christmas was the last one Leonard and I spent together. God gave us nearly 60 Christmases to spend together. We were very thankful for this so we could celebrate Jesus' birthday.

The reason I say our last one was the most memorable one was because we were able to celebrate our love for each other and our love for Jesus.  Leonard was very ill in 2007 and we knew he was going home. We both prayed that his suffering would end.  We were blessed to let each other know our love for each other and for God--Leonard knew and I knew, just before he took his last breath as I held his hand.

Heavenly Father,

     My life is always in your hands.  Use me to do your will on earth as long as I live.  Guide me to grow in faith and strength and to live the abundant life that comes from your grace.  Amen.
